Work at Zenith People
What a place to work
If you’ve taken the time to scan our website, you’ll hopefully have gotten a pretty good idea of who we are and what we’re about from a recruitment perspective. However, if you’re interested in working here, you also need to understand what type of business we are to work within.
Our website talks quite a bit about us being a group of individuals who work well together as a team and are friendly and professional, who know what we’re talking about and who enjoy delivering an excellent service to valued clients. The good news is that it’s not just a blurb for the website; it’s actually true!

Life’s too short to spend 8 hours a day doing a job you don’t enjoy in a place you don’t like. We’d never encourage a candidate to do that, so why would we want any of our team to feel that way. We’re not saying every day is cupcakes and at your desk shoulder massages. But, we are saying that we work in an informal, friendly environment where opinions are welcomed, work-life balance is respected, and where employees can realise their career aspirations.
We’re a growing business, and we’re always looking to bring like-minded, talented individuals on board to support the achievement of our business objectives. So if you feel that we sound like the type of business you can see yourself working in and think that you have something to bring to our table, please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
Don't just take our word for it...
The view of some real-life (non-biased) members of the Zenith team

“I have worked for Zenith People for the last 18 years! That in itself tells you I think it’s a great place to work! Zenith has grown massively since I started all those years ago, when there were only four members of the team, to the twenty-one that we have here in Hebburn today! I think the main reason Zenith has a great reputation as a business and has had so many successes over the years is down to the staff working at Zenith. Zenith People have a great team, a real good mix of people who all gel so well and make Zenith People a great place to work!”

The view of some real-life (non-biased) members of the Zenith team

I started at Zenith in 2017 as an Administration Apprentice and immediately felt welcomed throughout the business. The people I have worked with over the years have supported me not only professionally but on a personal level too. Upon completing my apprenticeship, I was offered a permanent contract, and since then, I have been developing my skills to support all aspects of the business. I have never worked for a more friendly company, and I honestly believe the people I work with make the business successful as they are all very approachable and understanding. The business has grown rapidly in the last few years, and I am excited for the next chapter in our new office!

There are several reasons I enjoy working at Zenith, I have been here for four years now, and Zenith has shown great loyalty to me in those years. They have provided me with training and a clear pathway to develop my career from Recruitment Resourcer to Consultant. The atmosphere is great, and this is due to the core staff being here a number of years. We have had time to develop good relationships around the office, and it shows longevity within the business. I also enjoy the flexibility of roles I work on. Looking after engineering, I deal with everything within the sector. I have had positions in the past where I deal with just one role repeatedly, and I much prefer the versatility.

“I started working for Zenith People in January 2021; therefore, I am a newcomer compared to most of the team. Everyone here made me feel very welcome from day one, and it was the culture and atmosphere at Zenith that attracted me to the role. The team helped me settle immediately and provided me with really detailed training to learn Zenith’s recruitment structure and all of the new systems used. My position with Zenith is as a Senior Consultant within the Industrial Department. I have five years of previous recruitment experience, and my time with Zenith has shown me how much enjoying coming into work can make all the difference in all aspects of your life.
Before Recruitment, I was a Sport’s Coach and re-trained in Health & Safety, showing that if you are interested in a rewarding career within Recruitment, experience isn’t always the answer. Zenith People are growing rapidly, and I am looking forward to progressing and building a successful career with the team.”

The full package
Aside from encouraging people to enjoy their jobs, we actually pay people to work here too! Salaries are competitive and set based on the role, market rates, skills, and experience. Bonus schemes for the positions that attract them are open-ended.
On top of enjoying your job, we also offer a range of additional benefits. We have a good pension scheme, a death in service benefit (though admittedly that’s not so much of a benefit for you!), and decent holiday entitlement – there’s the eight statutory days, plus a day off for your birthday and additional days rising from 25 to 29 with service.
If you work at Zenith, you are also offered training, development, complimentary tea & coffee, and staff outings, Christmas parties, and charity events!
