We’re looking for a Temporary HR officer to provide generalist support to a plant in Washington.

 

The role responsibilities:

  • Employee relations support and advice to Managers
  • Dealing with disciplinary, absence and grievance issues
  • Absence monitoring
  • HR administration and ensuring documents are kept up to date
  • Database administration
  • Compensation and benefits administration
  • Manage training for all employees – Book training courses, venues, and organize in-house training and assist with meeting preparation
  • Recruitment and Selection – Hourly
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position as and when required

  • Ability to deal with people at all levels both orally and in writing
  • Keen and enthusiastic

  • Must have experience in an HR generalist role
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail, strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
  • An understanding of the Health & Safety requirements of a working environment
  • CIPD qualification or Degree educated
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferable
  • Experience in Success Factor and Kronos database would be desirable
