Zenith People are working with our client who have a new role for an Electromechanical Engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be a hybrid role involving working from home, office and site work within the Engineering/Renewables Sector.
The role responsibilities:
*Electrical design, development and commissioning of new control systems including electrical drawings and assisting with project design
*Fault finding, testing, rectifying, maintaining and modifying existing systems
*Ensuring all existing sites are electrically compliant and functional
*Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
*Managing contractors
*Working collaboratively with maintenance and operations engineers, purchasers and other internal staff
*Liaising with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
*Work effectively and responsibly with others and independently
*Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards
*Ensuring installations are in keeping with industry standards
*This role is anticipated to be 70/30 electrically biased.
*Perform mechanical site maintenance
*Complete annual and weekly site reports
*Processing job and service sheets
*Job scheduling
* Purchasing equipment
The person we’re looking for
*Qualified time served Electrician
*Mechanical generator maintenance experience
*Desirable – CAD software familiarity
*Desirable – PLC experience
*Knowledge of electrical design, development and commissioning of new control systems including electrical drawings and assisting with project design
*Electrical certification
- Desirable Testing and inspection 2391 or 2394/5
- Desirable 18th Edition
*UK driving licence
