Role overview:

To work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of Zenith Training’s services, coordinating delivery of all courses while maximising all funding streams.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team of Trainers have all resources required to deliver weekly pre-employment training courses
  • Source venues for delivery and ensure bookings are confirmed
  • Work closely with the delivery team to ensure all paperwork is submitted in a timely manner
  • Monitor the delivery and achievement of distance learning courses
  • Work closely with the Engagement and Commercial teams to co-ordinate the training schedule
  • Assist with training related recruitment activity as required
  • Monitor satisfactory conversion rates in all courses and present findings to the Management team
  • Production of weekly/monthly management information
  • Keeping up to date with the latest initiatives, funding streams, legislation, and labour market intelligence
  • Contribute to the Continuous Improvement Cycle and support the Quality team to implement improvements
  • Production of management information and attendance at weekly meetings
  • Undertaking of specific organisational projects as required
  • Represent Zenith People at relevant meetings and networking events
  • Compliance and enforcement of internal policies, standards and procedures
  • Supporting of internal and external auditing activity
  • Compliance with all funding regulations
  • Compliance with safeguarding regulations
  • Support quality team with co-ordination of internal and external audit activity
  • Work closely with the Quality team to ensure delivery staff CPD is up to date and relevant, particularly Safeguarding and the Prevent Agenda
  • Carry out observations of teaching and learning and provide constructive feedback to Trainers

Person Specification:

  • Background in preparing and delivering pre-employment training programmes
  • Recognised teaching qualification – Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, Cert Ed
  • IAG level 2 or above
  • Experience of co-ordinating and motivating a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of unsupervised working and using own initiative
  • The ability to work in a target orientated environment and achieve required measures of success and quality
  • Willing to complete additional training/qualifications where required
