This is a fantastic opportunity to join an enterprising business in the North East. Working alongside the content and Marketing team, our client is looking for a Relationship and Engagement Manager to join their team.   • To develop and harness a diverse network of entrepreneurs and business owners both online (e.g. via portal, email and social channels), and offline (e.g. at events and meet up’s)
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the organisations direct online networks/forums including developing robust recruitment, onboarding and retention policies and processes
  • You will be responsible for tracking and responding in real-time to all interactions on our digital platforms including email marketing and social media accounts
  • You will manage the production of online and offline events (webinars, live Q&A sessions, video interviews, podcast series, etc.) from scheduling to compiling pre-events notes and supporting the promotion and repurposing of the digital content
  • Hosting offline events including meet up’s and organisations network events
  • You will contribute to the measuring and reporting of the organisations network engagement activities and provide insights into preferred content, ideal topics, best interactive features and media formats for our network
  • You will actively contribute to discussions on third-party social networking platforms and develop direct relationships with other community/network managers and content contributors across the business community
  • You will document their internal processes and network management practices to support the creation of our own quality standard ‘blueprints’
  • You may be required to project manage specific projects, initiatives or third-party contracts, as and when required
  • Compile a daily, weekly and monthly schedule of activities to be implemented for our own network as well as their main campaigns and business improvement programmes.



  • Demonstrable community/network management and engagement experience across all digital media platforms
  • Experience in developing meaningful interaction with individuals online with engaging text, images, videos or animations
  • Excellent all-round communication skills and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of website content management systems, social media platforms and email marketing
  • Experience in hosting and editing podcasts and webinars
  • Creating and implementing social networking campaigns for specific groups with a high level of interaction
  • Working in a fast-paced PR and marketing environment with a strong social media management bias
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting in a meaningful the feedback and online reviews to inform future community management activities
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle
