The Role
– This is an outbound telephone-based role so you will be comfortable interacting with clients over the phone and leading the conversation.
– Your aim is to secure commitment from the customer and obtain relevant documentation in order to pass the lead to specialist pricing team who will present the customer with options for their business and close the sale.
– Business to business lead generation and sales prospecting.
– Outbound cold calling, gathering sales intelligence, handling objections.
– Manage own workload/call backs via KPIs (Key performance indicators).
– Transferring leads over to an allocated sale closer.
– Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunity (Build a client portfolio).
– Dealing decision makers.

The Person
– You will be a determined highly driven salesperson.
– Looking for excellent career development opportunities not just a job.
– Knowledge of the energy market is desirable although not essential.
– Resilient, armed forces background is ideal.
– Experience in a sales environment is preferred.
