Durham Oktoberfest 2011
Zenith People were delighted to be exhibiting at Durham Oktoberfest 2011 at the Xcel Centre in Newton Aycliffe. The exhibition was extremely well received by both exhibitors and an impressive number of attendees.
For those that passed us on Stand 81 and entered our ‘How well do you know your ropes?’ competition, you’ll be keen to find out who the lucky winner was!
Participants were asked to make an educated guess on the breaking weight (in fully laden double decker buses) of each of the two ropes on show.
The correct combined breaking weight of the two ropes was 25 buses – 10 for the smaller rope and 15 for the larger rope.
There were 4 answers totalling 25 buses and the the winner was drawn at random. The winner and runners up are:
Winner: Alex Lawd – Edwards Analytical
Runners Up: Stephen Preston – SSPM Ltd, Julie Curry – PPM North East, Bill Oliver – UKTI
The Zenith Team would like to say a huge congratulations to Alex and thank all runners up and other participants for taking part in our competition. Overall we found it an excellent experience and our thanks also extend to those who organised the event.
See you again next year!
