We’ve been delivering temporary recruitment solutions to support clients’ fluctuating labour requirements since we started in 2001. We still supply our first ever client with their temporary workforce. So, that should say a little about the experience and trust we’ve earned in planning and executing long-term resource plans. We deliver The Best In Programme

The ‘BEST In’ (Business, Enterprise, Skills, Technology & Innovation) programme will underpin and complement the North Easts ambitious growth strategies and plans by delivering a high-quality range of training and support that creates a highly skilled workforce by addressing the skills shortages and/or needs within the following sectors across the Transitional and More Developed regions of the NELEP:

Our programme will focus upon delivering a range of accredited and non-accredited Leadership and Management, Digital, Sales, Marketing and Business Growth training in Small and Medium-size Enterprises (up to 250 employees) within the above sectors.

Training and support will be for people at all levels, but with a focus on supporting participants to gain their first level 2 qualification, move from a level 2 qualification to a level 3 qualification and further, the project will also address the needs of disadvantaged groups in and out of the workplace, e.g. enabling females to gain improved labour market status.

 

Who will lead the activities being delivered:

The ‘BEST In’ programme will be delivered across the More Developed and Transitional areas of the NELEP region via a partnership led by Zenith People that includes Transmit Start-Ups, and the MINT Business Club.

 

 

Skills Bootcamp

Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills to enhance their careers and/or fast-track themselves to a guaranteed interview with a local employer who is aligned to the skills bootcamp.

White Goods Academy Skills Bootcamp. What will the bootcamp cover?

Our bootcamp is for aspiring or existing field service engineers who want to work within or progress within the domestic appliance repair sector and includes the following: 

  • Dishwasher Repair Training  
  • Microwave Repair Training  
  • Washing Machines and Dryers Repair  
  • Appliance Installation and Safety Training  
  • Domestic Appliance Foundation Training  
  • Appliance Safety Testing and Use of Meters  
  • Refrigeration Controls and System Repair Training  
  • Cooker Oven and Hob Repair Training  

Train to Teach: Adult Education and Training Skills Bootcamp. What will the bootcamp cover?

Upon completion of the bootcamp participants will achieve the following qualifications:

L3 Award in Education and Training

The qualification provides an introduction to teaching and aims to meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers/trainers, such as:

  • individuals not currently in a teaching or training role who aspire to be
  • individuals currently teaching and training in a work environment, but hold no formal qualifications within this vocational area (including those who have just begun teaching and training), Individuals aspiring to become a teacher/trainer

  • Understanding and Using Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches in Education and Training
  • Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training
  • Understand assessment in Education and Training

L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement

This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).

Selling at a Higher-Level Skills Bootcamp. What will the bootcamp cover?

Upon completion of the Selling at a Higher-Level Skills Bootcamp, learners will be able to access and utilise Salesloft, have a full understanding of the “Sell to a Higher-Level Methodology” and have the autonomy to access C level prospects.
