Angela founded Zenith People in 2001, after initially starting her career in the manufacturing then recruitment sectors. She is MD of both Zenith People and sister business Zenith Training, and is responsible for business strategy, growth, profitability and governance.
When she’s not working, Ang enjoys food (both cooking and eating), wine, travel and running (to work off the food and wine!). Ang’s bucket list is extensive but her top three (currently) are to see the Northern Lights, to complete a sommelier’s training course and to head off on safari.
Alan’s original background is as a Design Engineer with NEI and has worked in the Recruitment Industry for the last 20+ years. Alan is also Director of the Advanced Manufacturing Forum and is Chair of the South Tyneside Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time Alan is a season ticket holder at St James’ Park and his lifelong ambition is to see Newcastle United win something!
Nik has worked at Zenith People for 12 years in various different roles, however more recently in the role of Business Support Manager. Previous to this Nik worked in the Travel Industry and during her time there she was lucky to travel the world.
In her spare time, she loves to explore the Lake District either on foot or riding her new E-Bike with Rico her Spanish Water Dog and partner.
Nik’s dream is to spend a few nights searching the skies of Northern Scandinavia for the Northern lights from the warmth of a glass pod, or hot tub with a glass of bubbly.
David has worked for Zenith for a whopping 11 years. Throughout his time he’s worked within a few different areas of the business, but now works as a Senior Recruitment Consultant in the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, playing football and going on outdoor pursuits.
Claire has worked within the food industry for over 19 years, starting as a packing operative and working her way up to Labor Coordinator. She is now team leader of the Temporary Recruitment Team at Zenith where she manages large food contracts. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going on exotic holidays.
Matthew completed a Business Administration Apprenticeship after leaving sixth form and has recently completed a Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management. He now works within the Temporary Recruitment team at Zenith.
For his sins, Matthew is a Newcastle United season ticket holder and St. James’ park is where he spends most Saturdays. His dream is to one day go to the Monaco Grand Prix.
Helen has worked with Zenith People for 13 years. She works within the Temporary Recruitment team, whilst managing the temporary staff for one of Zenith’s biggest clients.
In her spare time Helen loves to keep fit, attending various classes each week. Helen’s dream would be to one day to see her team Newcastle United win a cup.
Ashley has recently finished her level 2 Business Administration NVQ at a security company and has since decided to complete her Level 3 Business Administration at Zenith People. She works as the general office admin support for the whole team.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, eating lots of food and her dream one day is to go in a hot air balloon.
Matt has worked in recruitment since finishing his AS levels and now works as a resourcer within the Permanent recruitment team at Zenith.
In his spare time Matt enjoys watching Newcastle United play and regularly attends both home and away games. Matt would like to return to Australia to experience an Ashes test match.
Katie has worked in Payroll for over 5 years’ and joined Zenith in August 2017 to manage the Payroll department.
In her spare time, she sings in a band, and regularly does solo gigs in the local pubs and clubs; as well as this her favorite thing to do is spend time with her little pooch Charlie.
Marc studied Marketing and Advertising Management at Leeds Metropolitan University and has worked within Sales and Recruitment since graduating. He now works as part of the commercial recruitment desk for both permanent and temporary staff.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching Newcastle United and also plays football for the mighty West Jesmond FC on a Saturday. Marcs dream is to see England win the Ashes.
Faye started off at Zenith People as an apprentice in payroll and administration. She has since changed her path and now works within the Temporary Recruitment department recruiting temporary staff.
In her spare time, she enjoys taking part and also teaching fitness classes. Faye’s dream is to travel the world and one day own a Bentley.
Carla started working for Zenith People in September 2017 in the Temporary Recruitment department. In the years before recruitment, Carla worked as a care worker.
In her spare time, she likes to do things with her husband and two kids. She loves binge watching boxsets, particularly Game of Thrones and The Vikings.
Joanne has over fifteen years’ experience working in an accounts role and is now the Accounts Manager for Zenith People. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at her caravan, going abroad with her husband and two boys, and watching her boys play football. Joanne’s dream is to see the Northern Lights.
Scott started his professional career at Scottish Widows back in 2005 and stayed within Financial Services until he moved into recruitment in 2010.
Since then he has been solely involved within the IT sector both in the public and private sector. He is a very keen golfer, football fan and enjoys going to gigs and festivals. His dream is to retire and own a bar in an exotic location.
Jordan served his time as a sheet metal worker on the banks of the River Tyne. He has since then completed his HNC in Mechanical Engineering and now works as a recruitment consultant at Zenith People. He uses his practical "on the job" knowledge and experience to find recruitment solutions fit for purpose. In his spare time, he enjoys writing about himself in third person.
